Volleyball Recap: Asbury Rams vs. Vinemont Eagles
Asbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Vinemont Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17.
Asbury's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Vinemont, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 38-5.
Asbury will challenge Brindlee Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Vinemont, they will take on Alabama Christian Academy at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Vinemont is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
