Soccer Recap: Lanier Christian Academy Comes Up Short

If Lanier Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Killian Hill Christian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lanier Christian Academy Lightning took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of The King's Academy on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 last Saturday.

Lanier Christian Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for The King's Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Coming up, Lanier Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Pinecrest Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Pinecrest Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.4 goals per game this season. As for The King's Academy, they will be playing at home against Sequoyah at 7:30 p.m. on March 11th.
