Volleyball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Concord lost against West Rowan back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spiders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Spiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Concord couldn't get the win, but they sure gave West Rowan a tough time in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 33-35, 25-23, 25-22.

Lily Hermans paced Concord's offense, picking up 15 kills. Hermans got some help from Adeline Fulton and her 37 assists.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for West Rowan, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Concord didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Northwest Cabarrus on the 23rd. West Rowan has also already played their next game (against Jay M. Robinson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
