Soccer Recap: Marshfield Takes a Loss

Marshfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Willard Tigers. While losing is never fun, Marshfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 219th, while Willard are ranked 76th).

Marshfield's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17-1. As for Willard, they pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Marshfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Willard, they will venture away from home to square off against Webb City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Webb City's last six matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
