Baseball Preview: Leyden Eagles vs. North Shore Country Day Raiders

The Leyden Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the North Shore Country Day Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Leyden will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Last Tuesday, Leyden was able to grind out a solid win over Hinsdale South, taking the game 10-6.

Meanwhile, North Shore Country Day made easy work of Christian Liberty on Wednesday and carried off a 9-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for North Shore Country Day.

The team also got some help courtesy of Aram Dombalagian, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Leyden's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14. As for North Shore Country Day, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
