Baseball Game Preview: Brandywine Heights Area Bullets vs. Lancaster County Christian Lions

The Brandywine Heights Area Bullets will square off against the Lancaster County Christian Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Lancaster County Christian took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Brandywine Heights Area, who comes in off a win.

Brandywine Heights Area was handed a 16-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past William Allen 9-7.

Ethan Bollinger and Tommy Moore did most of the damage at the plate: Bollinger went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double, while Moore scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most RBI Bollinger has posted since back in April of 2024. Cole Fredericks was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Lancaster County Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of West Shore Christian Academy by a score of 8-7 on Tuesday.

Brandywine Heights Area's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lancaster County Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
