Hudsonville came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Holland Christian Maroons. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Maroons, too.

Hudsonville's offense was headlined by Leah Burlison and Megan Glass, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Jaclyn Keppel and her 14 assists. Finally, Glass was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Hudsonville's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Holland Christian, they moved to 6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hudsonville will venture away from home to square off against Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holland Christian, they will head out to face off against Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Maroons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
