Basketball Recap: Balko/Forgan Takes a Loss

Balko/Forgan saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell 51-38 to the Leedey Bison. The loss was Balko/Forgan's first of the season.

Despite the defeat, Balko/Forgan saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Halle Littau went 8 of 17 on her way to 22 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Stockton, who posted six points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Balko/Forgan fell to 2-1. As for Leedey, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Balko/Forgan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-27 victory against Hoops for Christ on the 13th. Leedey has also already played their next matchup, a 39-34 win against Cheyenne/Reydon on the 14th.
