Cranston East faced Classical in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Thunderbolts put the hurt on the Purple with a sharp 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Thunderbolts sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Cranston East pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Classical, they moved to 14-5 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
