Forest Park and Evansville Mater Dei are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The two teams will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Forest Park is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 37-35 victory over North Posey. The 37-point effort marked the Rangers' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Evansville Mater Dei sidestepped Perry Central for a 39-37 win.

Evansville Mater Dei's victory bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Forest Park, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-6.

Forest Park beat Evansville Mater Dei 54-43 in their previous matchup back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Forest Park since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
