Football Recap: Havelock Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Havelock lost against New Bern back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams lost 28-7 to the Bears.

New Bern's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Terrance McCormick, who threw for 354 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Those 354 passing yards gave McCormick a new career-high. Ozell Brimmer was McCormick's top target, picking up 97 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Havelock's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for New Bern, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Havelock will look to defend their home field on Friday against Tarboro at 7:00 p.m. As for New Bern, they will venture away from home to take on West Craven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
