Basketball Game Preview: Bluffton Tigers vs. Wabash Apaches

The Bluffton Tigers will square off against the Wabash Apaches at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Bluffton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.

Bluffton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Southern Wells 86-41 on Saturday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Konley Ault continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 68% from the field on her way to 32 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 45.9% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Dick, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 20 points.

Wabash had taken Peru down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Apaches took a blow against the Tigers, falling 64-35. The Apaches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bluffton's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Wabash, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Bluffton took their win against Wabash in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 78-52 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Apaches have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
