 Bradford is 1-6 against Elk County Catholic since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Bradford Owls will head out on the road to  take on  the Elk County Catholic Crusaders at 4:15  p.m. The last four games Bradford has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
 Bradford will bounce into Tuesday's   matchup after  beating DuBois, who they hadn't topped in nine consecutive meetings. Bradford had just enough and edged DuBois out  6-5. That's two games straight that Bradford has won by  just one  run.
  AJ Lama was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Talan Reese, who  went 1-for-3 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run.
 Elk County Catholic lost  7-1 to Brockway on Monday. Elk County Catholic has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Elk County Catholic also got a good showing from  Brady Leathers, who   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits.
 At the plate, Elk County Catholic saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Colby Nussbaum, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Bradford pushed their record up to 5-7 with that  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home. As for Elk County Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
 Bradford suffered a grim  13-0 defeat to Elk County Catholic  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023. Thankfully for Bradford,  Joe Tettis (who   didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out 12 over six innings pitched) won't be suiting up this time.
