Defending Non-Public A champion St. John-Vianney begins season ranked No. 1. Also watch for Manasquan, Haddon Township, New Providence and Immaculate Heart Academy in the New Jersey #MaxPrepsFab5.

2015-16 New Jersey Preseason Girls Basketball Fab 5, presented by the Army National Guard

1. St. John-Vianney (Holmdel)
Head coach:
Dawn Karpell
2014-15 record: 26-4

Winners of the Non-Public A championship last year, St. John-Vianney returns the only junior from last year's NJ.com all-state team in Kelly Campbell. She averaged 14.7 points per game to lead the team. She's joined by Kimi Evans, a junior, who was a first team all-state sophomore last year.

2. Manasquan
Head coach:
Lisa Kukoda
2014-15 record: 31-2



The Warriors won the Tournament of Champions last year, but they will miss Marina Mabrey, the State Player of the Year, who has graduated. Manasquan will be a young team this year, led by the Dara Mabrey, a second team all-state freshman, and Stella Clark, a first team all-state sophomore.

3. Haddon Township (Westmont)
Head coach:
Tom Mulligan
2014-15 record: 25-3

The Hawks reached the championship game of the Group 1 playoffs, falling to New Providence 32-30. Haddon Township returns one of the state's top juniors from last year in Morgan Lenehan, who made second team on the all-state juniors list by NJ.com.

4. New Providence
Head coach:
Cap Pazdera
2014-15 record: 22-10



New Providence came on strong in the postseason, defeating Haddon Township for the Group 1 championship game. The Pioneers will have one of the state's top players in Sydney Morang, a second team all-state pick last year, along with all-state second team sophomore Katie Kinum.

5. Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township)

Steve Silver
2014-15 record: 27-2

The Eagles won the Non-Public North A championship, but fell to St. John-Vianney in the Non-Public A championship game. Jordan Wilmoth is the top returning player for Immaculate Heart Academy, as she earned third team honors on the all-state juniors team by NJ.com.
