Softball Recap: Twin Lakes Takes a Loss

Twin Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Carroll Cougars, falling 12-4. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly eight runs.

Taylor Oliver was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendra Hughes, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Twin Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Carroll, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Twin Lakes will take on West Lafayette at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Indians' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Carroll, they will face off against Benton Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
