Football Recap: Juab Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Juab couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 23-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Reds on Friday. The Wasps have struggled against the Reds recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Although Juab took the loss, they still got scores from Price Armstrong and Brock Richards.

It was another big night for Everett Kelling, who rushed for 87 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 131 yards and one TD for Cedar.

Juab's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Cedar, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Juab does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cedar, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 41-35 win against Manti on the 15th.
