Football Recap: Juab Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Juab can now relate to. They took a 23-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Reds on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Reds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-35 back in October.

Although Juab took the loss, they still got scores from Price Armstrong and Brock Richards.

Everett Kelling continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Cedar, rushing for 87 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 131 yards and one TD.

Juab's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Cedar, they pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Juab does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cedar, they will take on Manti at 10:00 a.m. on the 15th. The Reds will need to watch out since the Templars have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games.
