Hillsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northwestern Huskies. One positive for the Falcons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Hillsdale's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Northwestern, they moved to 3-9 with that win, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

Hillsdale and Northwestern could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Hillsdale (ranked 584th) will meet Norwayne (ranked 181st) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Northwestern will take on Smithville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 551 places (602 vs. 51).
