Baseball Recap: Boyertown Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Boyertown's offense. They came up short against the Phoenixville Phantoms on Monday, falling 6-0. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Phantoms earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Boyertown now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Phoenixville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Boyertown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Owen J. Roberts on the 30th. As for Phoenixville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-0 defeat against Perkiomen Valley on the 30th.
