Preview: Bryan Golden Bears vs. Archbold Blue Streaks
Bryan is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Archbold is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Bryan Golden Bears will take on the Archbold Blue Streaks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bryan will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 278th, while Archbold is ranked 63rd).
Last Friday, Bryan was just a hair shy of victory and fell 27-26 to Wauseon.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Archbold at home against Patrick Henry on Friday as the squad secured a 59-22 victory. The result was nothing new for Archbold, who have now won seven matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
Archbold's victory bumped their season record to 8-1 while Bryan's defeat dropped theirs to 5-4.
Things could have been worse for Bryan, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 28-14 loss to Archbold in their previous matchup back in September of 2022. Will Bryan have more luck at home instead of on the road?
