East Haven won the last time they faced Hillhouse and things went their way on Monday too. The Yellowjackets came out on top against the Academics by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-19, 22-25, 25-15.

Kelsey Hinckley paced East Haven's offense, picking up 15 kills. Hinckley got some help from Eve Backhaus and her 31 assists. Hinckley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

East Haven's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Hillhouse, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Coming up, East Haven will challenge Bunnell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillhouse, they will square off against Shelton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
