Volleyball Recap: North Paulding Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

North Paulding lost against Walton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolfpack took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders.

While North Paulding ultimately came up short, they really made Walton work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 20-25, 29-27, 25-17.

Ellie Cristadoro was nothing short of spectacular for Walton: she had 20 digs and four assists. Those 20 digs gave Cristadoro a new career-high. Marissa McEckron also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

North Paulding's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-10. As for Walton, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

North Paulding will challenge Cartersville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Walton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Pace Academy on the 17th.
