Volleyball Game Preview: Lynn Classical Rams vs. Everett Crimson Tide

The Lynn Classical Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Everett Crimson Tide at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Lynn Classical will be strutting in after a victory while Everett will be coming in after a defeat.

Lynn Classical took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They blew past Medford 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-7, 25-14.

Among those leading the charge was Long Pham, who had 11 digs and two aces. Jaytana Truong also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Lynn Classical was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last seven matchups.

Meanwhile, Everett came up short against Chelsea on Monday and fell 3-1. The Crimson Tide have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Lynn Classical, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Lynn Classical got the 'W' in their previous matchup on April 6th against Everett by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
