Volleyball Recap: University City Comes Up Short

University City lost against STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-21.

University City has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15-2 record this season. As for STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

University City has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Jennings on the 13th. As for STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Hazelwood East on the 13th.
