Basketball Recap: St. Pius X Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rockhurst, St. Pius X was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Barstow Knights out 46-43. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Knights are ranked 401st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got St. Pius X back to even at 7-7. As for Barstow, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Pius X will welcome Benton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Barstow, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Heritage Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
