Matt Miller and KC Funk provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Porum. The longest such play in B District 4 (8 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 62 yards.
Wetumka extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Strother, 7-0. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Davenport's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Miller has thrown for 1224 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Kevin Thomas has 30 catches for 524 yards. Thomas leads the league in rushing with 816 yards.
A big matchup in B District 4 (8 Man) this week will be when Wetumka takes on Bowlegs. Waymon Potts' team is currently in first, while the Bison are in 10th.
Gans suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after falling to Dewar. The Grizzlies had been ranked 24th, but fell to 35.
