Baseball Recap: Dayton Takes a Loss

Dayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Churchill County Greenwave. The match marked the first time this year in which the Dust Devils were not able to get on the board.

Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Churchill County, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-4-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Greenwave beat Dayton by a score of 10-4 later that day.
