Basketball Recap: St. Thomas Episcopal Gets the Win

St. Thomas Episcopal lost to Kinkaid back in December of 2021, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The St. Thomas Episcopal Saints pulled ahead with a 63-62 photo finish over the Kinkaid Falcons.

When it comes to explaining why Kinkaid lost, don't look at Drace Gomez. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Rob Satcher, who posted eight points and nine rebounds.

St. Thomas Episcopal has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Kinkaid, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

St. Thomas Episcopal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-60 loss against Northland Christian on the 28th. As for Kinkaid, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-51 defeat against St. Thomas Catholic on the 27th.
