Basketball Recap: Sumner Comes Up Short

Sumner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 57-38 bruising from the Calais Blue Devils. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-40 back in December of 2024.

Sumner's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Calais, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Sumner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Calais, they will square off against Woodland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
