Soccer Recap: Stratford Takes a Loss

Stratford managed to keep up with Wando until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Stratford Knights came up short against the Wando Warriors, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Warriors are ranked first).

Stratford's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Wando, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stratford will challenge Lucy Beckham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wando, they will take on Cane Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
