Softball Recap: Voorheesville Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Voorheesville's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Schalmont Sabres on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Blackbirds in their meetings with the Sabres: they've now lost seven in a row.

Voorheesville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savannah Schmidt, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Voorheesville's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Schalmont, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2.
