Basketball Recap: Great Falls Takes a Loss

Great Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 60-34 to the Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats.

India Williams was her usual excellent self, putting up 29 points in addition to eight assists and six steals for Westminster Schools of Augusta. Williams' morning made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isabella Baker, who went 6 for 9 on her way to 13 points and five rebounds.

Great Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Wardlaw Academy the next time they take the court. Westminster Schools of Augusta will head out to face Wardlaw Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while Great Falls will head out to face them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
