The Barnwell Warhorses will head out on the road to square off against the Saluda Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Barnwell will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Bridges Prep on Tuesday. Barnwell never let Bridges Prep get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Warhorses might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 15 runs or more this season.

Barnwell got a massive performance out of Abigail Corley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Corley a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendall O'Berry, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Saluda got the win against American Leadership Academy on Tuesday by a conclusive 9-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.
Miller Martin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up 17 Ks. Those 17 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nyla Jordan, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Ava Martin also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
The victory got Saluda back to even at 3-3. As for Barnwell, their record is now 4-1.
Saluda's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Barnwell has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .621. It's a different story for Saluda, though, as they've only averaged .342. Will they be able to contain Barnwell's hitters?
Barnwell was able to grind out a solid win over Saluda when the teams last played back in March of 2018, winning 4-1. Does Barnwell have another victory up their sleeve, or will Saluda turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
