The Loudonville Redbirds will square off against the Centerburg Trojans at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Loudonville will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
On Thursday, Loudonville came up short against New London and fell 14-10. Even though they lost, the Redbirds' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.3 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Loudonville got a massive performance out of Helaina Gray, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Gray continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn Kegley, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Centerburg never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over East Knox. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Abby Herren was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Chesnee Fairall was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two doubles.
Centerburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .630. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The victory made it two in a row for Centerburg and bumps their season record up to 8-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Loudonville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
