Volleyball Game Preview: Deshler Tigers vs. Brooks Lions + How To Watch

Deshler is a perfect 10-0 against Brooks since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will square off against the Lions at 4:00 p.m. Deshler will be strutting in after a victory while Brooks will be coming in after a defeat.

Deshler proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Wilson 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since September 11th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Deshler got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 18-25, 27-25, 16-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Brooks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wilson.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 17-25, 25-20, 25-15.

Deshler pushed their record up to 29-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Brooks, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-18.

Deshler took their win against Brooks in their previous meeting on September 11th by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
