Soccer Recap: Andrew Jackson Takes a Loss

Andrew Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Yulee Hornets, falling 9-1. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 7-1.

Andrew Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Yulee, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andrew Jackson will head out to challenge First Coast at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. First Coast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season. As for Yulee, they are taking a road trip to take on Fernandina Beach at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday.
