Volleyball Recap: Mount Everett Regional Comes Up Short

If Mount Everett Regional was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Libertas Academy Charter on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against Veritas Prep Charter on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Veritas Prep Charter this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 9th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-7, 25-16.

Mount Everett Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Veritas Prep Charter, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 5-6 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mount Everett Regional will challenge Hampden Charter School of Science at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Veritas Prep Charter, they will face off against Monument Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
