Softball Recap: Alpena Takes a Loss

Alpena fell victim to Midland and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Chemics, falling 13-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Alpena's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Midland, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Coming up, Alpena will head out on the road to square off against Pinconning at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Midland, they will welcome Bay City Western at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Chemics' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
