Game recap: Arbor View High School Football Team beats Centennial

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Centennial (Las Vegas, Nev.) came into Saturday's contest ranked No. 4 in Nevada, but was stunned by Arbor View (Las Vegas, Nev.), 35-7. Arbor View was ranked at No. 7 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings for Nevada coming into the week.

After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, the Aggies led 28-0 at the half.

Arbor View expanded its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. AV scored once in the quarter on a rushing touchdown.

A big 21-point first quarter helped the Aggies secure the win. Arbor View scored on a rushing touchdown, a Jacob Speaks touchdown run and a defensive touchdown in the quarter.

Centennial's only touchdown came on a run in the fourth quarter.



A 20-13 Arbor View victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.

Arbor View (1-0) will play a non-conference game against Coronado next week, while Centennial (0-2) will take on Shadow Ridge also in a non-conference game.
