Football Recap: Kyayr Negron and Walter Price Pace Rahway Defense + How To Watch

Rahway won the last time they faced New Brunswick and Andrew Avent did his part to make sure it happened again. The Indians claimed a resounding 41-6 win over the Zebra thanks in part to Avent, who rushed for 240 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.

Rahway didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kyayr Negron and Walter Price.

Rahway has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.0 points over those games. As for New Brunswick, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Rahway will be playing in front of their home fans against Montgomery at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Brunswick, they will head out to take on Governor Livingston at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Zebra are facing the Highlanders at the right time seeing as the Highlanders are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
