Basketball Game Preview: Grosse Pointe North Norsemen vs. Western International Cowboys

The Grosse Pointe North Norsemen will be taking part in a tournament against the Western International Cowboys at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Grosse Pointe North will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Grosse Pointe North humbled University Liggett with a 57-30 victory.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Western International, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat American International Academy 47-14. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 24 points or more this season.

Western International pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30 points. As for Grosse Pointe North, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
