Volleyball Recap: Revere Gets the Win

Revere won the last time they faced Tallmadge and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Minutemen came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Minutemen.

Revere had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-13, 25-22, 25-13.

Marissa Haugh was the offensive standout of the game as she had ten digs. Those ten digs gave her a new career-high. Catherine Steiger also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Revere's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Tallmadge, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Revere has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Mayfield on the 6th. As for Tallmadge, they will challenge Aurora at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
