There's no place like home for Veritas School, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors with a sharp 6-1 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Veritas School, who have now won nine contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Veritas School's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven matches. As for Norfolk Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Veritas School will square off against The Covenant School at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Norfolk Christian, they will face off against Peninsula Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Norfolk Christian will be up against Peninsula Catholic's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.36 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
