Volleyball Recap: Gregory-Portland Comes Up Short

Gregory-Portland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Langham Creek Lobos. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lobos earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

While Gregory-Portland was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23.

Gregory-Portland's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Langham Creek, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-11.

Coming up, Gregory-Portland will welcome Miller at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Langham Creek, they will head out to challenge Cypress Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
