Soccer Recap: Friday's Win Is Unicoi County's Third in Last Four Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against David Crockett, Unicoi County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Sullivan East Patriots a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Unicoi County were the better team in the second half.

Unicoi County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4-2 record this season. As for Sullivan East, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Coming up, Unicoi County will challenge Elizabethton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sullivan East, they will take on David Crockett at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. David Crockett will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Sullivan East surely won't give up without a fight.
