Volleyball Recap: San Juan Victorious

The San Juan Spartans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Woodland Christian Cardinals on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

San Juan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 22-25, 25-18, 25-20, 15-6.

San Juan's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Woodland Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. San Juan will face off against rival Lindhurst at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Woodland Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Vacaville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
