Softball Recap: Godinez Fundamental Takes a Loss

Godinez Fundamental was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Costa Mesa Mustangs, falling 11-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 back in April.

Godinez Fundamental's record now sits at 3-13. As for Costa Mesa, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-17.

Godinez Fundamental didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against Tustin on the 6th. As for Costa Mesa, they have also already played their next matchup, a 16-15 loss against Santa Ana on the 6th.
