Baseball Recap: Parkway North Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Parkway North's offense. They came up short against the Ladue Horton Watkins Rams on Wednesday, falling 10-0. The Vikings have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Parkway North saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Marsh, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Parkway North's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Ladue Horton Watkins, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

Parkway North and Ladue Horton Watkins could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Vikings (ranked 409th) will meet Liberty (ranked 165th) at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ladue Horton Watkins will face off against Burroughs at 4:15 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (240 vs. 35).
