Baseball Recap: Midlakes Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Midlakes's offense. They fell just short of the North Rose-Wolcott Cougars by a score of 1-0 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent loss being a 1-0 defeat on Monday.

Midlakes dropped their record down to 4-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only two runs. As for North Rose-Wolcott, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cougars beat Midlakes by a score of 1-0 later that day.
