Softball Recap: Richmond Bobcats vs. Temple Academy Bereans
Richmond won the last time they faced Temple Academy, and things went their way on Saturday too. The Richmond Bobcats put the hurt on the Temple Academy Bereans with a sharp 18-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Richmond.
Richmond got a massive performance out of Kaelyn Brillant, who went 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Cray, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Richmond's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Temple Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richmond will take on Buckfield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Temple Academy, they will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Valley at 4:00 p.m.
